Quick Start Guide for Auto-Restore & Auto-Replace for Source-Connect Talent
The following is the most common scenario:
- Ensure that the studio will be using Source-Connect Studio or Facility.
- Open Source-Connect Talent and connect with your recording engineer.
- Verify that you have a Green line around your Connection item with the recording engineer for a Restore session, or a Blue line for a Restore/Replace session.
- Your recording engineer may ask you to wait for the Replace process to complete your recording session. After you disconnect from your recording engineer, ensure that you leave Source-Connect open and that you do not delete your “Cached Audio Data” folder. It may take a while for files to upload, especially after long sessions: your recording engineer will let you know when they have everything they need
