ERROR#508: Sample rate mismatch
Source-Connect | Version 4.0 | All Operating Systems
Description
When users start a Restore/Replace session, they get an error message saying there is a sample rate mismatch and a restore/replace session cannot be established.
Reason
At this time, you must record at either 44.1kHz or 48kHz.
The Restore/Replace process does not support sample converting for the Restore/Replace for other sample rates. You must be using 44.1kHz or 48kHz.
Your uploader must also have their device set at 44.1kHz or 48kHZ.
Actions
Before your session as an uploader or requester, make sure to set the sample rate for your audio device.

- Go to the Audio MIDI Setup application.
- Click the name of your input device in the left panel of the Audio MIDI Setup window (for example, “Macbook Pro Speakers").
- Click the “Format” dropdown menu.
- Select the sample rate you want to use.
- Repeat the steps for your output device.
