Error #987: your passkey must be at least 3 characters long and make sure that you are not streaming on another device.

Description

When users try to click "START STREAMING" in Source-Live Pro LL to begin a streaming session, they receive the following error message:

Cause

There are two possible causes for this error message:

1. Your passkey is less than 3 characters.
2. You are already streaming on another device.

Actions

For the first scenario, follow these steps:

1. In Source-Live, click the gears icon.
2. In the PASSKEY field, make sure you at least enter 3 or 4 characters.
3. Click the “Save” button.

If the problem is related to streaming on another device, make sure to check other computers to make sure you are not still actively streaming. If you believe you're seeing this error message by mistake, please contact the support team.
