Quick fix for error 200: reconnect and try again
This is an extremely rare error that we have a solution for in the near future. Please try and reconnect first before trying further actions.
Description
When users attempt to connect to a user via Source-Connect 4, they may very rarely receive an in-line error next to the user they are trying to connect saying “#200 error”.
Reason
Occurs when the user cannot establish a connection either via peer-to-peer (P2P) or via Source-Stream relay.
Actions
In order to resolve this issue:
- Reconnect: in almost every case the connection will work
- Allow connections to the API IPs in the local computer firewall or corporate firewall. For this purpose, please contact our support team and ask for them to send you the whitelisting document for Source-Connect 4.
- Check the support status in case of a service error.
Then, try to connect with your connection partner again.
