Purchasing and Activating a Source-Connect 4 subscription
Here's your quick and easy step-by-step guide to purchasing Source-Connect 4, the newly revamped version of the most requested and used system for remote VO recording sessions. For macOS and Windows.
Here is what you will need before purchasing:
- A Source Elements account. You can create one here if you don't already have one: https://dashboard.source-elements.com/.
- A valid payment method (a credit card, PayPal or Google Pay)
Purchasing Source-Connect on the Source Elements Store

Go to https://store.source-elements.com/customer/account/login/ |

Sign in with your Source Elements account. |

Check your account information and registered address to ensure the information is accurate. |

Go to Source-Connect subscriptions and choose Source-Connect 4 (for Talent, Studio or Facility, as applicable). |

Click “Subscribe Now”. You will be directed to the Shopping Cart. |

Click "Proceed to Checkout" to continue. |

In Order Review, ensure all information is accurate, then click “Place Order”. |
Depositing and Activating your License on your account on the Store

An email with instructions on how to deposit your newly purchased license will arrive to your email inbox. If nothing arrives, check your SPAM folder.
Open the email and copy the license code to your clipboard (select the code and press [Ctrl]+C on a Mac or [Ctrl]+C on a Windows PC).
The code you're looking for has this format: XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX |

Click the “Deposit License” button. |

In the first step, click “Next”. |

In the second step, click “Yes, please deposit my license”. |

Click the “ACTIVATE LICENSE” button to complete the process. |
Launch Source-Connect
Launch the Source-Connect for Talent application; if this is already installed in your computer you can find it in:
- The Applications folder on a Mac.
- The Start Menu on a Windows PC.
If you haven't installed it, download it from here (select the right version for you: for Mac or for Windows) https://dashboard.source-elements.com/products and install it.
Then, sign in as needed.
