Selecting the best Source-Nexus plan for your needs

The Source-Nexus Gateway web application is included within the Source-Nexus Suite. We have designed the pricing and usage to be simple and easy to use, including a free tier and a paid tier. 

What is included in the free tier?

The free version of the Source-Nexus Gateway means you can use the web application with only a Source Elements account. If you don't yet have one, go ahead and create it in the Source Elements user dashboard. Then, log into the Source-Nexus Gateway via https://nexus.source-elements.com/.

As a broadcaster, this is what the Source-Nexus Gateway Free version includes:

• An audio-only session, with a communication or broadcast quality (OPUS, 256kbps, mono only).
• Up to 5 participants per session, including yourself (the broadcaster).
  • Users do NOT need to have an account.
  • You (the broadcaster) do need to have one. Accounts are FREE.
• A built-in recorder, which records your audio only.
• A built-in talkback switch to turn on/off your microphone when needed.
• A passkey to protect your session from any unwanted guests.
• Advanced host controls: the ability to mute any participants and/or remove them, if necessary.
• Text messaging during your session.

The Source-Nexus Monthly, Year or Two-Year Subscription Plans

As mentioned above, there is a monthly, year or two-year subscription plan for the full Source-Nexus Suite, which also includes access to the Source-Nexus Gateway. The subscription pricing is displayed on our store.

The paid version of Source-Nexus Gateway includes:

• Stereo, 512kbps audio.
• A separate stereo audio broadcast, in addition to video chat audio.
• High-quality video from all of your participants, who do not need to have an account.
• A screen sharing feature, where you can share your browser tab, the whole window, or your entire screen.
• For Source-Live users, an integration with the Source-Live application. Any input source chosen in the application will be displayed in the Source-Nexus Gateway app. Keep in mind that, as a broadcaster, you will only see your shared input on Source-Live to preserve your viewer hours.

In addition to these benefits for Source-Nexus Gateway, you will also have access to the other Source-Nexus products included in the suite:

• The Source-Nexus Control Panel, a virtual audio device manager for macOS.
• The Source-Nexus I/O plugin, our application router for AAX, VST and Audio Unit hosts, available for both macOS and Windows.
• The Source-Nexus Review plugin, a plugin especially designed for remote mix review sessions. 
• The Source-Nexus Mute-On plugin, a plugin available for AAX, VST and Audio Unit host created to assign an action for all of the different playback states.
• The Source-Nexus Router application, which allows you to route high-quality sound on a traditional patch, for both macOS and Windows.
