On MacOS, audio becomes noticeably glitchy

Description
Users who have configured Source-Nexus Router on MacOS sometimes start hearing distorted or glitchy audio on the configured devices.
Actions
In order to resolve this issue, close any audio applications and restart CoreAudio. You can do this in three different ways;
- Reboot your system, which will in turn restart CoreAudio - this will most likely resolve the problem.
- If you do not wish or cannot reboot your system, manually restart CoreAudio by:
- Opening a Terminal.
- Typing in the following command: sudo launchctl kickstart -kp system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod
- Alternatively, carry out step 2 manually by:
- Opening the Activity Monitor.
- Finding the “coreaudiod” process.
- Stop the process. It will restart automatically.
