ERROR#507: Channel count mismatch

Description

When users start a Restore/Replace session, they get an error message saying there is a channel count mismatch and a restore/replace session cannot restored/replaced.

Reason

You and your connection partner must have the same amount of channels. The Restore/Replace process does not support channel converting.

Actions

In order to update your channel count:

1. Decide on a number of channels with your partner.
2. Click the gears icon in the top right-hand corner to access the Settings menu. 
3. Under Send > Channels, select the appropriate number of channels.
4. Try again.
