Quick Start Guide for RTS and LTC/MTC in Source-Connect Studio/Facility

The way to set up your machine to use RTS in Source-Connect 4 will depend on whether you are using LTC or MTC to send or receive RTS. 

To send timecode with MTC, you will need to: 

1. Create a MIDI device to send RTS. 
2. Select your MTC input device in Source-Connect.
3. Click the “SEND” button in Source-Connect.
4. Ensure all connection partners (who want to receive RTS) are on the same FPS rate. 

To send timecode with LTC, you will need to: 

1. Add a timecode generator in your DAW track. 
2. Select an LTC timecode input in Source-Connect. 
3. Click the “SEND” button in Source-Connect. 
4. Ensure all connection partners (who want to receive RTS) are on the same FPS rate. 

To receive timecode with LTC, you will need to: 

1. Select an LTC timecode output in Source-Connect 4. 
2. Click the “RECEIVE” button in Source-Connect 4. 
3. Ensure all connection partners (who want to receive RTS) are on the same FPS rate. 

To receive timecode with MTC, you will need to: 

1. Select an MTC timecode output in Source-Connect 4. 
2. Click the “RECEIVE” button in Source-Connect 4. 
3. Ensure all connection partners (who want to receive RTS) are on the same FPS rate.
