Choose Source-Connect 4 when the remote participant is a working audio contributor. Source-Connect Talent 4 is tailored to voice-over artists, while Source-Connect Studio and Facility 4 add the advanced features used by recording engineers and facilities. Workflow and technical differences

Source-Nexus Gateway runs in the browser at nexus.source-elements.com. A broadcaster hosts a room and shares access with viewers. The paid Source-Nexus Gateway experience can provide stereo audio, a separate stereo broadcast in addition to video-chat audio, high-quality participant video, and screen sharing. The Source-Nexus Suite also includes tools such as Source-Nexus I/O, Review, Mute-On, and Router, so a host can bring audio from a DAW, other applications, or external devices into the collaboration session.

Source-Connect 4 is a standalone application that integrates with DAWs through AAX, VST, and Audio Unit plug-ins. It supports high-quality, real-time streaming with AAC-ELDv2 and Opus, contact management, and instant messaging. Studio and Facility workflows add multi-participant sessions, Remote Transport Sync, and Restore/Replace, which uploads or requests replacement audio when a network interruption affects a recording.
