Source-Nexus Review

• Surround downmixer.
• This feature is only available in the DAW plugins and not the standalone application.
• Apple spatial rendering is only available on macOS 10.15 and newer - it is not supported on Windows.
• Binaural rendering is only available on macOS 12 and newer. It is also supported on Windows 10 and 11.

• Fixed an issue on macOS where ctrl+click would not perform a right click.

Source-Nexus Review 

• Fixed an issue with certain audio interfaces, most notably Universal Audio interfaces, that caused audio issues in Pro Tools.
• Fixed an issue where the plugin would cause Logic Pro or its AUHostingService to crash.

Source-Nexus I/O 

• 1.5.4 version of the plugin caused Pro Tools to stall when loading the plugin on startup on macOS 10.14 (Mojave).

Known Issues 

Source-Nexus I/O

• Plugin can sometimes cause Logic Pro or its AUHostingService to crash. Issue is still being investigated but installing the 1.5.0 version of the plugin avoids the issue.

Source-Nexus Review

• Using Apple spatial rendering on an ambisonics track in Pro Tools can cause Pro Tools to crash.

Source-Nexus Mute-On

• Plugin cannot get playback state on a track that does not have input monitoring enabled in Logic Pro. This is a limitation of Logic and the AU plugin architecture, aux track should be used or input monitoring always on.

macOS 10.14 - macOS 26 (Intel & Apple silicon). 

Windows 10 64-bit - Windows 11.

Apple Spatial Rendering is only available on macOS 10.15 and newer.

Binaural rendering is supported on Windows 10 & 11 and macOS 12 and newer.

Licensing 

All Source-Nexus Suite components require the “Source-Nexus Suite” license which is available as a subscription only, in monthly, yearly, and 2-yearly subscription intervals. 

Component Build Numbers 

Source-Nexus Control Panel is also still Mac only. The Control Panel app and Mac driver remain on 1.5.3 as they are not being rebuilt for any new releases. The Windows driver remains on the initial release version.
