Payment Methods in the Source Elements Store
The Source Elements Store offers different payment methods according to the currency you select. After you sign in, you can choose USD or EUR; the checkout then presents the methods available for that currency.
This guide helps you decide which currency to use before you begin checkout. USD is the default. If you choose EUR, the checkout switches to the EUR payment options and does not show the USD options.

Choose your store currency
Choose the currency that matches the payment method you plan to use. Your selected currency determines which set of checkout methods is available; it is not simply a display preference for prices.
- Sign in to the Source Elements Store.
- Set your currency to USD or EUR.
- Continue to checkout to see the payment methods available for that currency.
USD is the default currency. Select EUR if you would like to use the EUR payment options described below. The checkout page is the definitive view of the methods available for your selected currency.
Payment methods when paying in USD
When USD is selected, the Source Elements Store offers cards, express checkout methods and PayPal. This gives you a choice between entering card details directly, using a supported wallet, or checking out with your PayPal account.
Card payments
Visa and Mastercard are available for USD purchases. Choose this option to complete checkout with an eligible card.

Express checkout
Express checkout can make payment quicker by using details already saved to your device or account. Apple Pay is available only in Safari on a compatible Apple device. The option shown also depends on the payment account you are using.

PayPal
You can also complete a USD purchase with PayPal. Choose USD before checkout if PayPal is your preferred payment method.
Payment methods when paying in EUR
When EUR is selected, the Source Elements Store offers EUR-specific methods. Select EUR before proceeding to checkout if you want to pay with one of the following options:
- SEPA
- Bancontact
- iDEAL / Wero
These are the EUR checkout methods. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal—the USD payment options—are not shown when you select EUR.
Before you check out
Choose your currency first and then look for the corresponding payment method on the checkout page. For example, select USD for card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal; select EUR for SEPA, Bancontact, or iDEAL / Wero.
If an express checkout option is not displayed, confirm that you selected USD and are using a compatible device, browser and payment account. Apple Pay requires Safari. The methods displayed in the signed-in checkout are the available methods for your current currency selection.
Payment method questions
Can I use a USD payment method when I select EUR?
No. USD payment options are not available when EUR is selected. To use Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal, choose USD.
Can I pay with SEPA, Bancontact, or iDEAL / Wero in USD?
No. These methods are part of the EUR checkout options. Select EUR to see them at checkout.
Why do the payment options change?
The store presents payment methods according to the currency you choose. This keeps the checkout options aligned with USD or EUR payment processing.
