The account cannot be used on two computers simultaneously. If you log in the Q functionality on another computer will be disabled. Would you like to log in?
Source-Connect | 3.8 and 3.9 | Mac
Description
As soon as users log in, they receive an error message saying the Q account is being used on another computer.
Cause
The message can be caused if you are logged into a different computer with the same account and your network is dropping out. It can also be caused by your IP address or other network settings being changed while you logged in.
Actions
First, check whether you have any active sessions on other computers. This will cause the above error message.
If you are on Source-Connect Pro/Pro X, try the following:
- Go to the Q Manager settings page.
- Go to "Advanced"
- Disable "Start with Source-Connect".
If you are getting a failed FTP validation from Q Manager:
- Change the login mode to "Manual".
- Click "Edit".
- Make sure you have "Use settings from server" selected.
