We are happy to announce our first major release in 2026 - Source Connect 4.1.0. 

Source-Connect 4 has become the industry's first remote collaboration solution to achieve Dolby Atmos certification with metadata connection to the Dolby Atmos Renderer. With 128 audio streaming channels supporting any combination of beds and objects—plus full metadata integration—the update connects immersive environments like never before. Mixers, directors, and stakeholders can now attend Dolby Atmos playback and mixing sessions from their preferred location or setup, unlocking new possibilities for remote collaboration.

Dolby Atmos streaming is available exclusively on Source Connect 4.1.0 Facility License - Mac OS edition.

With this update, we are bringing some more improvements:

• Facility license can now enjoy up to 128 channels of audio streaming, with Resilience setting supported.
• Resilience setting is now enabled by default to be sure that you and your session participants are on the best configuration
• Fixed certain installer bugs
• LTC signal levels are now decreased to -20dB to prevent signal clipping
• Fixed a number of Restore/Replace bugs
• Fixed a number of reconnection bugs
• Implemented further steaming quality enhancements
