Source-Live Players

This article contains information about Source-Live 3.0While the Source-Live Gateway is designed for immediate use via a web browser, some systems do not support Low Latency mode. Ask your client to download one of the options below if they wish to listen in with lower latency.
Mac OSX
The Source-Live Player for Mac OSX is a free application that supports both of the Low Latency and High Stability streaming options of the Source-Live 3.0 software. See the Quick Start guide below.
Available for Mac OSX only.
iOS
The Source-Live Player for iOS is a free app that supports both of the Low Latency and High Stability streaming options of the Source-Live 3.0 software. It also includes video chat.
Available for iOS only.
QUICK START FOR MAC PLAYER:
- Launch the application and enter the Username of who you wish to listen to. If you have a good Internet connection, choose Low Latency Mode. You can switch to Stability Mode after entering the application, if you have issues maintaining a clear stream.
- If that user is broadcasting, you should see video immediately. Otherwise, try again when that user is ready.
- If a broadcast needs to restart, click on the Refresh icon after you have been told there is a broadcast started.
